Arapuke Forest Park is owned by PNCC with trail development managed by the Manawatū Mountain Bike Club

Chilli Beans

Named after the NZ falcons with whom we share the park, This trail is a good honest Grade 3. It is tight and twisty hand cut single track but good riders will maintain great flow all the way down.

Kahu

Named after the NZ falcons with whom we share the park, This trail is a good honest Grade 3. It is tight and twisty hand cut single track but good riders will maintain great flow all the way down.

Karearea

Named after the NZ falcons with whom we share the park, This trail is a good honest Grade 3. It is tight and twisty hand cut single track but good riders will maintain great flow all the way down.

Yeah Nah

Thin single track following the Eastern Block Road down to join up to Check Point Charlie. Few small bits to get some air and a few logs to dodge along the way.

Riff Raff

Swamp Monster is ideal for kids and beginner riders with nice berms and a gentle gradient.

Checkpoint Charlie

Riff Raff forms an up/down connector loop, between the top of Ice Breaker and the Container Hub.

About Time

A predominantly downhill flowing trail with lots of berms and a smooth surface that's fun for all the family.

Billy Goat

A steep and technical uphill that winds up the valley below Rocky.

Jack & the Beanstalk

Jack and the Beanstalk is a meandering, well-graded uphill trail that offers great views back down Kahuterawa valley.

Mr. Twister

Mr. Twister was edited and extended by Empire of Dirt and also Velstand Trails in 2019. It is a wide open Grade 3 flow trail.

Ice Breaker

(formerly known as Jack Frost). In 2012 there was a major amount of harvesting of the area previously know as Woodpecker Forest.

Kissing Rock

This is a demanding Grade 6 technical trail, although the whole trail has been designed to be rollable.
